Piper’s Vale Primary Academy has made huge leaps in academic progress over the last 12 months with Y6 SATS exceeding the national average in Maths and achieving it in English, and prides itself in ensuring pupils have every opportunity to meet their potential.
Commenting ahead of his visit to Piper’s Vale, Tom Hunt MP, said:
“I am delighted to have been invited to meet the pupils and teachers at Piper’s Vale today. We want to ensure that all the children of Ipswich have access to the best possible education and we can do this by learning from the best schools and academies in our town.”
Kimberly Morton, Principal, Piper’s Vale Primary Academy, said:
“We are pleased to welcome Tom Hunt MP into our school and community. We are all working together hard to ensure all pupils get the support they need to meet their potential and while we have had some fantastic results, there is still a long way to go. On-going support from Tom and his team over the next Parliament will be invaluable in helping us ensure the school reaches its potential.”
Pupils at Piper’s Vale Primary Academy benefit from modern buildings, extensive playing fields, outside space and a huge range of extra-curricular activities including swimming. Families benefit from wrap around care at the breakfast club and on-site nursery.
