For the second year in a row Old Ford Primary is using a ‘pop up swimming pool’ on site.
The trial last year was really successful and resulted in 79% of Y6 pupils meeting the expected standard of being able to swim 25m unaided. This year the pool is returning and the school will have it on site for the whole of the autumn term. This will mean that the pupils and staff won’t have to travel down to Mile End and will have more time for learning.
