Learning about our system of government is important for all children, so Piper’s Vale invited Kelly Stroud from UK Parliament to visit the school.
She spoke to KS2 pupils about democracy, the voting system in the UK and how somebody can become an MP or sit in the House of Lords. They now all know how to contact their local MP and how important it is to vote in local and national elections.
