Recently, Nursery and Reception parents attended a Phonics and Family Tree Workshop at Solebay.
Having support from parents is vital to ensuring children get the best education, so the aim of the Phonics Workshop was to help parents gain a better understanding of the phonics programme and how they can support and develop their child’s reading from an early age.
During the Family Tree Workshop, parents and carers worked alongside their children to create a family tree collage. This activity provided a lovely opportunity for families to share and celebrate information about the different individuals in their family.
