Messy Play is very effective in helping young children learn in a fun, engaging way.
At Piper’s Vale they turned messy play into a science experiment, combining baking soda, flour, and lemon juice. The children loved using droppers to add the lemon juice and watching the satisfying fizzing reaction!
Their farm-themed messy play allowed children to explore a variety of crunchy and dry textures. This activity was excellent for developing their fine motor skills as they focused on transferring materials using different tools.
