Creativity has been to the fore this term at Murrayfield.
In DT, the children used their fine motor skills to make vehicles. They were focusing on the main features of vehicles and having conversations with their peers about the different types of vehicles, exploring how wheels, axles, and a sturdy chassis come together to make things move. Great work, little engineers!
Year 5 had a great time creating monsters with air dry clay, while in Year 6, pupils were creating properties fresh for the market, including a delightful pink cottage, featuring a textured front door with incredibly convenient access, a black and white design, fitted with the latest sackcloth roof, and even a multi-coloured beach hut!
