Pupils in Year 1 at Old Ford have been learning to follow algorithms using a Bee-Bot.
These programmable floor robots are fun and engaging ways to introduce coding at an early level. Once children have practiced following algorithms they will be writing their own, building an understanding of logic and taking their first steps in programming.
