We are looking for someone in Suffolk to join our team as a Parent Director on the board of our dynamic and forward-thinking multi-academy educational trust.
Being a Parent Director is a challenging but hugely rewarding role. It will give you the chance to make a real difference to young people, give something back to the local community and to use and develop your skills in a board-level environment.
The closing date for expression of interest is 31 October 2023.
To be considered for this position you must have the following:
- A child at one of Paradigm’s four Ipswich schools (Piper’s Vale Primary, Murrayfield Primary, Ipswich Academy or Woodbridge Road Academy).
- An interest in, and commitment to the education of our students.
There are no formal qualifications needed.
How much time will I have to commit?
In each academic year, the Board of Directors usually meets around nine times, with meetings starting at 18:00 and usually lasting for two hours. You will also have to complete training, particularly in the area of safeguarding and child protection. Our Company Secretary will give you a bespoke induction and guide you through the first few months. A Director serves for a term of four years.
